About Us
At Boxshall Group, we are an integrated building services group delivering end-to-end construction solutions across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and communications disciplines.
Established in 2010 and based in Melbourne, we have evolved from a specialist contractor into a trusted delivery partner for complex building services projects across commercial, industrial, health, education and residential sectors.
We operate as a principal contractor, managing projects from early-stage coordination through to construction, commissioning and handover. Our self-perform delivery model provides greater control over quality, safety, programme and cost, ensuring consistent outcomes across all phases of delivery.
This approach provides clients with a single point of accountability, improved coordination across disciplines, and reduced project risk — delivering certainty from concept to completion.

Highest standard of safety
At Boxshall Group work health and safety is about more than compliance. Everyone deserves a safe place to work. Our commitment to the highest standard of safety is part of how we do business.
We comply with all relevant statutory obligations, Codes, Standards and guidelines.
But we don’t stop there.
We regularly review and revise our written documentation and make sure we’re keeping up with any regulatory changes. We think about safety every day. And we’re always looking for ways to remove or minimise any risk to hazards.
Our projects sometimes require us to perform designated High Risk Construction Work activities. We’ll always prepare a site-specific SWMS for these activities. And we make sure our electricians read the SWMS and sign off before doing any HRCW activities.
Our electricians have access to safety procedures out on site where they need it most. We make sure everyone knows how to do their job safely and how to keep each other safe on all types of work sites.
Please get in contact if you’d like to see a copy of any of our written documents, including:
- OHS Policy
- Environmental Policy
- Code of Practice
- Site specific SWMS
- Privacy Policy
- Public Liability Certificate of Currency
Prepared for emergency situations
Sometimes things don’t go according to plan. Our electricians are prepared for any scenario out on site. We invest time and resources to make sure our electricians have the knowledge and skill to think on their feet and know what to do if something goes wrong.
All our electricians have valid, nationally accredited certifications in Level 2 First Aid and CPR and Live Low Voltage Resuscitation. We’ll always have a qualified first aider on site. We don’t gamble with safety.
And Boxshall Group is registered for WorkCover insurance. Our policy covers all our apprentices, employees and deemed workers.
National Employment Standards
We’re a leading employer in the electrical industry and we meet or exceed all National Employment Standards. We’ve also adopted a number of Fair Work Ombudsman best practice initiatives and are committed to keeping the workplace safe for all our apprentices and employees.
We make super guarantee payments to a complying super fund and our payments are always on time.
